I know huh? Apathy is a harsh thing to beat, really, not to mention having all sorts of other things on top of it.

Maybe if you stalkers would promote writing rather than stalk. :|

I wanted to scoff at the whole situation and leave, but that feeling only lasted for a second. It didn't help how I felt about that case... Basically having no information on the patient, no distinct symptoms and jumping straight from careful examination to surgery, which would be hazardous (not to mention stupid) if not fatal to the patient, if we couldn't find the culprit during the procedure.

I had to mention it.

"This is plain absurd. A surgery without a single piece of information? All you know of him is that he was found outside the city?" my paw rubbed my forehead, before I turned to Jessica.

"I have no doubts in performing a surgery, but I can't help questioning the safety of it. It's like searching for a needle in a haystack, even worse." I pulled a few notes from a pouch and checked that they were the right ones.

"I will direct the procedure or work as an assistant, if you wish so, but if I could ran a few quick tests for certain diseases. They're far more common on gnolls and some are even... they won't transfer to humans."
